El Confidencial Digital reports on Good Formats’ forthcoming presentation at MIPCOM Cannes of the US pilots of EL ROSCO and RUN THE RING, filmed in Los Angeles with Christian Gálvez.

For us, this is more than a new production milestone. It reflects our commitment to building on the enduring strength of an iconic television IP while opening it up to new audiences, new territories and new creative possibilities.

With over 27 years of television history, EL ROSCO continues to prove that a great idea can evolve without losing what makes it unique: its tension, accessibility and powerful daily connection with audiences. He did so in Los Angeles, at Lulu Studios , to record the pilot episodes of the adaptation of ” El Rosco” for the North American and Latin American markets. And, for the first time, he also did it in English.

It’s a project about which few details were known until now, and in which the presenter has played a much broader role than simply appearing on camera. He has participated in the creative exploration of the format , contributing his experience from thousands of programs, and has worked with a top-notch American team to find out what happens when such a recognizable television format is transferred to another culture.
